Unlike Rosie, who holds several PhDs in science, Tubbs was more of a lover than a fighter…or a scientist. But he went through a Neil deGrasse Tyson phase.

It didn’t last as long as the kitty modeling stage, of course…

But he still holds the record for the longest cat-walk in space…

He will always be known as the first cat to walk on Mars.

He was also the first mission commander for JPL’s Cats…

and designed what still stands as the most successful cat-created video game in history.

Unfortunately, this weekend I ran into some trouble with one of its finds.

While working remotely as the lead astrophysicist for the Cat Academy of Technology and Sciences (CATS) project to create a device that can translate a cat’s meow into human speech, she accidentally manipulated Novato’s gravity!

It was crazy! It lasted all day too!

She was floating all over the place, and when she finally figured out how to reverse things, she inadvertently opened a rainbow portal in the space-time continuum.

It was unbelievable.
