Summer Beauty Buddies: Trader Joe's Brazil Nut body lotion and body butter

And it has pockets!

It’s a total coincidence that today’s summer beauty buddies match my dress!

Side note, it’s the conscious Athleta dress. I bought the small version of the color Salvia Pink on sale a while ago for $30! And oh no no, it has pockets.

Anywho, Trader Joe’s Limited Edition Brazil Nut Body Wash and Body Butter, last time I checked, it was $5.99 each at our local store, but Dang, I’ve been seeing it on online resale sites for crazy prices, like a $25 body wash And $45 for the body butter. I think people really like it!

Or maybe they are so addictive that they will pay whatever it takes because the scent is insanely addictive.

Major mood lift

It’s a blend of delicious food ingredients – salted caramel, pistachio, vanilla and coconut. I usually think of these comforting notes for winter scents, but the addition of coconut brings it right into summer territory.

It’s strong but not sweet, and when I can smell it on my arms and hands, I can’t help but get those tropical island vibes! It is a major mood lifter.

And it continues back and forth

I think you should do both body lotion and body butter together. When I layer the two, I feel happily surrounded by delicious goodness all day long.

No need for a separate body spray or perfume on top, though I wouldn’t be surprised if TJ’s launches something next year to round out the whole experience.

Rich and creamy

The body wash is creamy and transforms into a soft, beautiful lather. The body butter has a whipped texture, so it sinks easily into the skin, and it’s rich enough for dry patches.

Neither of them are tested on animals, which is a great plus!
