Monday’s Makeup and Beauty Blog Poll, Vol. 789

So… what is Monday’s poll?

Excellent question! It is not, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like the little buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions that I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007).

1. That one beauty product you always take with you on trips?

sunblock cream!

2. Choose a dessert – ice cream, cheesecake, pie, or fruit salad.

I don’t mind eating a scoop of ice cream now.

3. What have you been listening to lately?

Lots of retro music! Mostly 80’s and 90’s pop and dance.

4. Have you thought about going back to school yet?

Believe it or not, yes. I bought some new shirts for Connor’s school uniform a couple of weeks ago. I need to order her a backpack and a lunch bag soon too. I don’t want to do everything at the last minute!

5. Are you very interested in selling Nordstrom?

I used to, but now, not really. The things I want are never available online, and I’ve had some not-so-great experiences with customer service at Nordstrom in the past year.

6. Do you prefer to ride an electric bike or an electric bike?

Hard passing on both (I don’t need to go that fast), but if I had to choose, I’d go with the bike.

7. How is your summer so far?

It was a little stressful at times trying to balance work and spending time with Connor at home, but all in all, I had fun! We’ve met some new friends in the neighborhood with the kids, and I’ve spent some time getting to know some really down-to-earth moms. It’s been really hard meeting people on my wavelength here in Marin (there’s a lot of “keeping up with the neighbors”), and I think I’m about to finally make some real friends. I try to keep my expectations in check, but I remain hopeful.
