Monday’s Makeup and Beauty Blog Poll, Vol. 786

So… what is Monday’s poll?

Excellent question! It is not, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like the little buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions that I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007).

1. Rose notes: sweet or overpowering?

Definitely nice. I love rose-based scents, and my first “adult” fragrance was Paris by YSL, which has beautiful rose notes.

2. Have you ever had a tattoo removed?

Nah. I don’t have any tattoos.

3. How are your nail art skills?

They used to be excellent, but I’ve lost a little bit of my edge since my telephoto vision started to fade. very funny! I’m still fine, though.

4. What did you eat for breakfast?

Oatmeal with milk, a little peanut butter and a handful of chocolate chips. I used to take it a lot before i got pregnant with connor a few years ago, and used to love it, but now i think it tastes a little gross. I guess I have to overdo it back in the day.

5. Something you would like to learn?

How to use the rowing machine correctly!

6. When was the last big concert you went to?

Um, I think it was the “I Love the ’90s” party, which I think was in 2018? This seems like a long time ago. I was supposed to see Lizzo in March 2020 but the pandemic had other plans.

7. Did you have a pogo stick when you were a kid?

I did! It’s a miracle that I didn’t open my head using it.

8. The last beauty item you bought?

I bought a Shiseido sunscreen stick and Supergoop mineral lipstick at Sephora last Friday.
