Monday’s Makeup and Beauty Blog Poll, Vol. 783

So… what is Monday’s poll?

Excellent question! It is not, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like the little buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions that I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007).

1. Have you bought anything on sale recently?

I bought some cotton tank staples and a T-shirt for the summer from Madewell. Nothing sexy at all, but at least I’ll be able to get dressed easily in the morning when it gets hot next month, lol!

2. What is one of your summer traditions?

In the past few years, we have gone camping. We don’t do anything fancy or completely off the grid; Just an easy drive-through at a family-friendly campground two hours away. It’s so much fun for us now… I’m sure Connor will be rolling her eyes in a few years because the last thing she wants to do is hang out in the woods with her parents!

3. Are you good at applying sunscreen?

I’m very consistent these days. I do need to improve on putting sunscreen on my lips though!

4. A scent that reminds you of summer?

Fresh watermelon cut, yum! And sunscreen at the beach, of course.

5. Hot dogs or hamburgers?

I’ll have a veggie burger, thanks! With cheese, pickles, and ketchup, please, and on a super soft brioche bun.

6. Where is the best place in your house to take a nap?

The couch downstairs can’t be beat, especially if the ceiling fan is on top (it makes me sleep soundly). Make sure to make room for Rosie-Pose. She’s a warm girl!

7. Is it hot in your hometown during the summer?

Ok yes! You’d think that since we’re relatively close to the SF Bay it wouldn’t get terribly hot, but the temps go into the upper 90s more often than not during the summer.
