Monday’s Makeup and Beauty Blog Poll, Vol. 780

So… what is Monday’s poll?

Excellent question! It is not, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like the little buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions that I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007).

1. Something related to beauty that you are passionate about at the moment?

Chanel has some new long-wearing nail polishes that have me excited! I’m thinking I need to get the pale yellows, blues, and greens into my life ASAP.

2. Something unrelated to beauty that you’re passionate about?

I finally bought a new car to replace my ’99 Toyota 4Runner that I loved so much. I was surprised to see how emotional it was to say goodbye to her; I really cried! I am comfortable driving something that has been made in this century.

3. Lemonade or iced tea?

both of them! Put both in a tall glass with some ice, and I’m a happy girl.

4. Cropped Pants: Yes or No?

I used to think yes until I saw a recent picture of me in a pair, OMG! I’ll go with no on this one from this point on.

5. Expensive skincare brands that never let you down?

Skinceuticals and Kate Somerville will always have my heart.

6. A drugstore skincare product you buy again and again?

Always and Forever Unscented Aveeno body lotion and lotion. They don’t give me a headache when I have migraines, and I know I can use both without having to worry about an unexpected allergic reaction.

7. What’s for dinner tonight?

I think I’ll take breakfast for dinner. Maybe pancakes.

8. What do you think of the body and lotion scents from Bath and Body Works?

When I’m in the mood (aka not having a monstrous migraine), I love them. I usually reserve lotions for summer, as they usually don’t have enough oomph for my dry winter skin.
