Monday’s Makeup and Beauty Blog Poll, Vol. 775

So… what is Monday’s poll?

Excellent question! It is not, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like the little buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions that I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007).

1. Gel cream or facial oil?

I’ll take the face oil, please! Pack it with antioxidants and please make a good layer under makeup.

2. Curly, curly or wavy?

My hair has natural waves, but I don’t go to great lengths to maximize its shape.

3. Blue, black or brown winged liner?

I like the beautiful dark blue today.

4. Something you plan to do this week?

It’s not supposed to rain this week so I like to go for short 10 minute walks throughout the day. I find that when I get to spend time outside during breaks, I feel so much better both mentally and physically. I’m trying to become more consistent about this.

5. Who do the best beauty gifts to buy?

Honestly, there is no evidence at the moment. It’s not a motivating factor for me, but if you know any good ones, I’d love the info.

6. Micellar water: yes or no?

Ah, if I had a bottle around, I would definitely say yes. But it’s not like I get scared or anything when I run out.

7. A little something you want to buy the next time you go makeup shopping?

I need to get some laces. Everything I have is gone. I put it on to get to it at night (I pile my hair up on the top of my head and secure it loosely with a tie), and they’re all gone. I think they drop in the middle of the night, and then Rosie takes them and hides them somewhere in the house.

8. Something nice you can do for yourself this week?

I’m going to treat myself to some “me time” with a nice lunch at a place I love in town, Blue Barn!
