Monday’s Makeup and Beauty Blog Poll, Vol. 774

So… what is Monday’s poll?

Excellent question! It is not, contrary to its name, an actual poll, like the little buttons. It’s just a list of more or less random questions that I’ve been posting on this blog every Monday morning for the past quadrillion years (since 2007).

1. Bucket hat or fedora?

UGH for both now; But the day I excitedly rocked it, LOL! I think I’d go with the bucket hat if I had to choose. I feel like it would do a better job of keeping the rain off my face.

2. How long have you been at sea?

Um, like half a day? I get seasick easily, so I don’t actively look for opportunities to hang out on boats.

3. Bright purple eyeshadow with black winged eyeliner – yes or no?

Of course, why not! Add a red matte lip to it while we’re at it.

4. Is there something you look forward to in April?

Hanging out with Connor over spring break! Last year I worked all week, and although it doesn’t take care of all the Disney movies, this year I want to make full use of the time. I guess I only have a short window when you want to hang out with me!

5. A scent that means something to you?

Chanel Mademoiselle. It takes me back to my 30s and early days as an MBB – an exciting time in my life when the possibilities felt endless.

6. What do you wear on your nails?

Essie Gel Couture in First View, light blue.

7. What is one thing you can do today to prepare yourself for a good Tuesday?

Go to bed early, for sure! And jot down a loose plan of action for tomorrow before I finish my day.

8. Do you enjoy spring?

Yes and no. I especially love seeing all the flowers and trees come back to life, but on the flip side of that, my allergies are killer. Everything bothers me now!

9. Motorcycle jacket or trench coat?

Oh, I love the soft undercoat.
